This urban project involves the renovation of two buildings, totaling 140,000 square feet. The existing eight and ten story buildings were converted from office buildings into a singular mixed use facility. The mixed use project houses 66 modern market rate apartments with associated residential amenities, 34,500 square feet of class “A” commercial space with secure (elevator assisted) parking at the first and basement levels. MacKnight Architects LLP removed the floors creating a six story sky lit atrium flooding the center area with light. The numerous amenities include a multi purpose roof top deck, roof garden, a social gathering area with kitchen, game room ,bike storage and dog grooming stations. The building stone facade was selectively penetrated with floor to ceiling windows to maximize the light to each apartment unit.
